Waitlist status update: The current estimated wait time for child care assistance, if applying today is approximately 1-3 months for families in priority groups and 9-12 months for families on the general waitlist. You can view monthly waitlist status updates here.

If you do not already have a Parent Portal login, please create an account to receive important messages about your waitlist status. The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) may contact you every 90 days by email, text, or through the Parent Portal to confirm that you wish to remain on the waitlist. If you do not respond, you may be removed and will need to reapply.
